$10 mil to upgrade Phu My Power Plant No 3

The project, scheduled in September 2009 and complete in 45 days, will raise the power plant’s capacity by 3-4%. This is the second upgrading for the plant since it was first brought in use on March 1st, 2004.

During the past five years, the power plant supplied 22 billion kWh to the national power grid. With capacity of 716.8 MW, the Phu My Power Plant No3 is currently supplying around 7% of the whole national power.
