$32.4m deposited for Mong Duong 2 thermo power project
Mong Duong 2 thermo power plant project has been started construction on September 16, 2011 in Cam Pha town, Quang Ninh province by the investor AES-VCM Mong Duong Electricity Ltd Co.
Mong Duong 2 thermo power plant with a total investment of $2 billion is expected to be completed by 2015 and will be transferred for Vietnamese government after 25 years of operation.
Mong Duong 2 thermo power plant, which has two turbines with total capacity of 1,120 MW, will apply the advanced and modern technology in the world and ensure Vietnamese and international standards on environment.
