Ernst & Young to provide free consultancy for foreign investors in Vietnam

Under the deal, Ernst & Young experts will consult with foreign investor a broad range of issues covering investment and tax policies in Vietnam as well as latest updates in accountancy and tax policies in the country.

The advisory counter will operate about three hours on every Friday at CFIS headquarters in the eighth floor at Vietnam National University, Hanoi’s National Economics University building, said CFIS Director Phan Huu Thang.

Interested businesses would register with CFIS at www.ueb.vnu.edu.vn or forward registration to www.cfis@vnu.edu.vn to be consulted based on issue groups.

The activities would benefit from support by representatives from relevant organizations, press agencies and different business associations.

Vietnam is likely to attract a total of $9.567 billion in FDI during the eight-month period, down 26.2% on-year. Of the sum, $7.94 billion come from 582 newly-licensed projects, and the rest come from 168 existing ones. 

The Southeast Asian country aims to attract $20 billion in newly-registered FDI capital and see $11-$11.5 billion in disbursement this year.
