‘Future city’ to be built in Quang Ninh
Covering a minimum area of 5,000 hectares, the city will include a research institute, a system of international schools from pre-school to university level, a sport and entertainment centre, workshops and conference centers, and a high technology zone with a green industrial park.
The project, scheduled for completion in 2015, is expected to be a model city not only for Vietnam but the world, said a representative from the Tuan Chau Group said.
Amata Group boasts modern marine environmental treatment technologies, including a process to turn waste into fuel, and sewage into water used at golf courses.
At present the group is operating two industrial zones in Thailand ’s Chonburi and Rayong provinces and a third in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province, Vietnam .
During its 15-year operation, the Bien Hoa-based Amata Industrial Zone has attracted more than 110 investors from 19 countries and territories, with a total investment capital of $1.5 billion.
