Gold prices down by VND500,000 per tael

By 11am on December 9, Dragon Thang Long gold of Bao Tin Minh Chau Company was transacted at VND27.66-27.85 million/tael and SJC gold of Phu Quy Company at VND27.65-27.85 million/tael, down by VND450,000-500,000/tael.

Early in the morning, the world prices of gold slumped by US$12.2 per ounce to US$1,131.2 per ounce, the lowest level ever recorded in three weeks.

Thanks to the recent import of gold, the supply and demand remains stable.
