Philipino businesses keen on investment in HCM City
At the conference, Vietnamese and Filipino enterprises engaged in direct talks with potential partners to seek business contracts and investment projects.
Ho Chi Minh City’s authorities have pledged to create the right conditions and provide active assistance for enterprises of the two countries to promote trade and investment.
According to Filipino Ambassador to Viet Nam, Mr. Jerril Santos, his country currently ranks 27 th in foreign investment in Viet Nam, with a total investment of some US$ 300 million. In the HCM city alone, Filipino firms have implemented 26 investment projects worth some US$ 46 million.
He assured that the Philippines always encourages Vietnamese enterprises to partake in trade, investment, agriculture in the country.
