According to the plan, the 27,108 ha Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone will become a port city providing deep-water port services. It will serve as an important transit point for the delivery of goods in Viet Nam’s central economic region.

A Centre for Logistics and Commercial Service will be situated at the intersection between National Highway No 1A and the road to Chan May port.

Chan May’s commercial and financial services area will be located alongside the Bu Lu and Thua Luu rivers and the base of Phuoc Tuong mountain.
