Quang Ngai to assign more capital to IZs
Leader Thich made the requisition in his meeting with MBPIZs in 17 Sept, 2009.
He said that Quang Ngai Government-which plans to achieve industrialization and modernization by 2020, would assign more capital to IZs in the upcoming time. He showed that to attract investors, MBPIZs would not only kick off promotion but also quickly improve infrastructures, especially waste water treatment systems in the zones.
As released by MBPIZs, the 141-hectare-Tinh Phong IZ, which is near by the national highway and Chu Lai Airport is hub of processing wood, construction material and garment. While, the 132-hectare-Quang Phu IZ inner the City is center of processing seafood, package, electric equipment, garment, ect.
The two have so far attracted multi-large-scale projects with total registered capital of over 3.8 trillion dong (over 215 million USD), of which 48 projects are under construction and operation creating over 8,000 jobs for local labors.
