Russia’s KAMAZ wants to boost truck export to Vietnam

The Russian news agency Sputnik on June 18 carried the news that KAMAZ Director General Sergey Kogogin and Chief Executive Officer of the Russian Export Center (REC) Petr Fradkov on June 17 signed an agreement on supporting Russia’s export.

The deal is part of the bilateral cooperation to bring KAMAZ’s products to the Vietnamese market.

The two sides will develop the optimal supply chain to deliver KAMAZ trucks to Vietnam while considering the possibility of supporting transport costs in Russia and planning to take measures to reduce import tax.

KAMAZ trucks have been exported to many regions around the world, including East Europe, China, the Middle East, and North Africa.

The company produces nearly 94,000 trucks each year.
