Song Thao cement plant to become operational in August

The company is making a special effort to produce the first batch of cement in August, said a company source.

This is also a model project of the Construction Ministry, in which HUD’s workers participate in the construction of the plant where they will then work in the future.

Deputy Director of HUD and the project’s manager, Ngo Ngoc Son said that the project, worth 1,450 billion, is nearly finished, with all sections of the plant having completed a pilot operation and systems are ready for the official operation which is scheduled to be launched in some days.

The cement plant mark the success of a new investment model and the participation of HUD, a construction material investor, in cement production.
