Vietnamese and Lao localities strengthen cooperation

Mot, who is also Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, made the statement at a recent reception in Vientiane given by Pany Yathotu, politburo member and deputy chairwoman of the Lao National Assembly.

Mot briefed his host on his visit to Laos from June 21-27 during which he had working sessions with the administrations of Champasak, Khamoune and Savanakhet provinces, and Vientiane capital.

Ms Yathotu said she highly valued the Vietnamese delegation’s visit, saying it created a good opportunity for both sides to strengthen cooperation in various fields.

She expressed her hope that Dong Nai would continue to help central and southern provinces of Laos develop the agricultural sector, especially industrial trees, food processing and infrastructure.
