Vinpearl Resort connected to the national electricity grid
The cable line is 3.4 km long travelling parallel with the bridge between the shore and Hon Tre island. It lies 1.2 meters deep under the seabed and is secured in heavy concrete boxes. The line has a maximum transmission capacity of 12 mWA and can meet the entire demand for power of the island, replacing the gas-run power generating system that was previously used.
