D&D, EESL partner to tap energy efficiency potential in Vietnam, Cambodia
On November 11, Mr. Dibyendu Patna, chairman of D&D Group, and Mr. SP Garnaik, Chief General Manager of EESL, witnessed the contract signing between the two companies at a ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City.
EESL is a joint venture of four Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) of the Indian Ministry of Power (MoP). It was established in 2009 as the implementation arm of MoP and the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
EESL’s objective is to lead the market transformation initiatives of the government of India under the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE) as well as creating and sustaining markets for energy efficiency.
In the meantime, D&D Group has been one of Cambodia’s leading business entities, and has been driving growth in the multiple domains, from telecommunication and international banking to F&B, trading, real estate, natural resources, power, IT, agriculture and education, over the last decade and a half.
In only 15 years, D&D Group is uniquely poised to hold a leadership position in all its areas of operation with representative offices in Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar.
With this, the D&D Group and EESL are partnering exclusively to execute and invest in energy efficiency projects in Vietnam and Cambodia.
