+ Potentials and develoment advantages

 - Total forest area of 629.942 hectares with wood reserves of 54 million cubic meters, several kinds of rate  and precious timber, many special plants with high - economic  value like Ngoc Linh ginsing, cinamon tres, amomum...Some 21.000 hectares of argicultural land , mainly alluvial soil suitable for cultivation of industrial plants such as granite, basalt stone, gabbros, limestone, diatomine...;60 sites available for construction of hydroelectric plants with total estimated technical valu of 180 MW

Tourist sites: Chu Mom Ray nation park, Dak Uy special forest, Ngoc Linh nature reserve , Ya Ly lake, hot water spring and historical relics such as Kon Tum and Dak Glei jails..

- Development of eco tourism rervices; cultivation and processing of argo forestry products, cinnamon-tree, ginseng and medicinal herbs; exploitation and processing of minerals; hidroelectricity development.
